 SIX30

This service is a more informal and inter-active style. Apart from sung worship led by a small band and singers, and a sermon, there may also be opportunities for more prayer than in the other services, times of quiet for thought and reflection, listening to God and opportunities for prayer ministry. Holy Communion is normally celebrated on the second Sunday of each month.

One of the much appreciated features of the SIX30 has been the development of the after-church CAFE. This gives an opportunity to relax together and enjoy the splendid refreshments. Our hope for the future is to be able to open up before the service as well.

THEMES:

We are now into a new sermon series which will take us through until the middle of July 2012. We are studying the first letter to the church at Corinth which shows us the struggles of Paul, the real man, but a man of God, as he tries to help a real church, full of 'warts and all' saints.

The letter is addressed not just to Corinth but to 'all Christians everywhere'. There is a profound message in this book about how we can be Christ's people, how we can live in and be good news to our community, and how we can be kingdom builders, building a church worthy of Jesus.
