The Uganda Fund is a ministry of Holy Trinity, working with partners in the Church of Uganda in reaching poor communities with practical and spiritual help, and helping the churches impact their communities with the love of Christ. From time to time teams from HT and elsewhere visit Uganda to carry out medical outreach camps working with local churches and local medical workers. The last team visited in January 2015, and carried out medical camps in Kampala and near Mbale, in the east of Uganda. See the video below.
For some years we have supported a mosquito net provision project in Mbale district, and the team in January re-visited this project and visited some recipient’s homes to see the impact this has had.
We have made significant investment in upgrading a rural health clinic in the Mbale area and also major investment in Kabarole, Church of Uganda Hospital, most recently helping build a radiology suite and fund a new X-Ray machine which was recently commissioned by the Bishop of Ruwenzori Diocese.
