Lighthouse is the children and young people’s wing of Trendlewood Church. If you are in school years 1-9, then Lighthouse could be for you. We meet during the Sunday morning 10.15am service and run an action packed programme of craft, football, hockey, games, music, drama and all sorts of other fantastic activities.

We teach the central principles of the Bible in fun and relevant ways so that our children and young people learn to build their lives on the rock of ‘hearing and doing’ the things Jesus said and did.
Our aim is for them to become like rock-solid lighthouses, shining bright and ready to stand up to anything the world has to throw at them.

Torches & Candles
  
   

 

    
                   
Torches (3-6 yrs) and Little Candles (0-3 yrs) offer Sunday morning provision for the youngest members of Trendlewood Church.  
These energetic little people enjoy a pattern of themed play and craft, with bible stories told by puppets. We seek to introduce the children to the living Jesus, and deepen their relationship with him.

The group has a busy hum, with the children talking naturally about things to do with God and faith as they play.  Prayer time with Billy Bear (probably our most popular team member) is a regular feature with even our youngest children keen to take a turn to hug him, whilst they talk to God about the things on their  minds.
