The Christmas Shop is over but it was a great week. A Christian presence right there in the precinct. A reminder that Christmas is actually all about giving, not about getting. An opportunity for anyone in the community to share with others less fortunate than themselves. And a great family activity, with dressing up for a stable-themed photoshoot and the chance to create your own Christmas card to take home. Plus we now have a huge pile of gifts to distribute to families who otherwise might not have much of a Christmas, and masses of donations of festive food which the Foodbank will use for their Christmas parcels. Thank you to Christians Together in Nailsea and District for masterminding the project, and a big thank you to our own Sharon Matthews for the huge amount of hard work she put into it.
