Mission Partners

We all know that Jesus wants us to be serious about mission.  God loves all people, and he wants us to take the good news of Jesus to all people so that they may be saved.  So it’s wonderful that Holy Trinity has a solid history of supporting mission – locally, nationally and globally – with prayer and finance.

During the next 5 years (i.e. 2020 to 2024 incl.) we have decided to support a total of 12 key Mission Partners.  Each month our Mission Prayer insert which is included with the Church News will feature 2 of these 12 partners with news, praise and prayer requests.

As a church we are committing to take an interest in their work, to pray regularly for these Mission Partners and also to contribute financially to their work.

There are also a number of other ministries which we will continue to support financially through the mission budget and through regular church activities but these will not feature as Key Mission Partners. These include Breakfast Run, Children’s Society, Crosswinds, Knowle West Church and Mothers’ Union Worldwide.  There are also some missions that we are no longer going to be supporting as a whole church – mission organisations that do excellent work but who we just can’t continue to support.  We are in contact with these mission organisations and working with them through this transition.

Our prayer is that our links with these 12 Mission Partners will grow stronger over the coming years, and that God will bless them through our commitment to them.  Please join us in praying for this.
