Morning Break is our welcoming and friendly parent and toddler group.
We run Tuesdays 9:15am-11:15am (Term time only)
We provide an opportunity to socialise with other parents whilst children play, and offer an interesting programme of talks, discussions and activities for parents to enjoy.
The ‘Break’ part of our name is our crèche and activities for babies and children. Which are available in a separate room for part of the morning, giving you the freedom to participate in our sessions (from 10.15–11.15). The crèche is run by volunteers who have previously worked in contexts with children under 4.
Most children attend our crèche, although your child is more than welcome to remain with you.
A typical session:
9.15 am – Official start – free play
10.15 am – Tidy up and move to Crèche with talks/activities for adults
11:00 am – back into the main room to have a story and do some singing.
11.15 am – Official Tidy up and finish
The meeting and crèche/children’s activities are free, but donations can be made for tea, coffee, biscuits etc to cover costs. Everyone is welcome!
