Mothers’ Union

There has been a branch of the Mothers’ Union in this area for over 100 years. The Holy Trinity branch is part of the world wide MU movement http://www.mothersunion.org/

We meet on the second Wednesday of every month at 2pm in the Trinity Centre; everyone is welcome, members, non members, women and men.

Through this branch, our members contribute practical help in the parish at Morning Break through serving refreshments and talking to the mothers and carers.  We  provide Bibles for Baptism families and keep in touch through Baptism anniversary cards including invitations to Morning Break.  We are also active members of all congregations and services and help in all aspects of Church life.  We also support  those in need in the wider community through gifts for Gemini refuge at Weston-super-Mare, holidays for those in need of a break,  and knitted goods for premature babies, knee blankets for older residents of residential homes and baby clothes for teenage mothers.
