Pictures of the Cross – Teaching Series

Our new teaching series, starting on 27 February, will look at pictures of the cross. The cross is at the heart of the Christian faith, and in the lead up to Easter this year we are going to take the opportunity to look at the cross through the lens of the old and new testament. We will start in the first four books of the Old Testament where we can see pictures of the cross in the life and ceremonies of God’s people, and we will end up in the New Testament where we will see reflections on the cross from two of the gospel writers. Together they should form a rich view of the crucifixion of Christ and deepen our worship this Easter.

If you want to hear the teaching series, you can come along to any service on a Sunday, either 9am, 10.45am or 6.30pm or you can watch on our Youtube channel on Sunday Catchup here. (Sunday Catchup is the recording from the previous Sunday, so they will always be a week behind!).
