Front Desk Office Assistant

We are looking for someone who can maintain and provide a professional, positive, supportive and welcoming attitude in all communication including emails, telephone enquiries, and face to face interactions with our clients and congregation.

This appointment is for 27.5 hours a week and requires an enthusiastic person with good interpersonal and communication skills who is confident and able to work under pressure and unsupervised. You should be a servant hearted Christian able to work well and flexibly in a team. You will also be able to demonstrate IT literacy and familiarity with standard office software and the internet.

This post would involve welcoming people to the church, be responsible for rotas and members information, update and print weekly newssheet, to deal with bookings for Weddings and Baptisms and other general admin required.

 Salary would be £9.50 – £10.10 an hour according to experience.
