If you are looking for a church wedding, Holy Trinity is the perfect choice. Set in the West End of Nailsea, the beautiful 15th century building seats 200, but can also be made more intimate for a smaller ceremony. Inside, natural light streams in through the stunning stained-glass windows onto the intricate stonework. We can even have the bells rung for a really authentic church wedding experience. The ceremony itself can be tailored to you. Whether you are looking for traditional religious readings and hymns or contemporary music and poems, whether you have something in mind or need some guidance, we will work with you to make sure you have a truly personal service that reflects you as a couple. When it comes to photographs, you will be spoiled for choice; the church itself is a wonderful setting, while our newly landscaped gardens offer the perfect natural backdrop. You can also hire the modern lounge area for refreshments before and after the service.
If you live in the parish or are on the electoral roll of the church you are entitled to be married at Holy Trinity. Others who can show a connection to the church may also be entitled to marry here. Contact the Church Office with your enquiry in the first instance: they will work out your ‘qualifying connection’. They will also advise you about the costs and pass your details on to the clergy. You can find out general information about getting married in a church at the Church of England website.
We run an annual marriage preparation weekend early in the year which many couples have found helpful. We also run Marriage Enrichment courses from time to time. You can find information here.
If you are getting married elsewhere and need your banns read, the Church Office will take details and make the arrangements.
