Find out more about Holy Trinity during Covid-19
Before the virus arrived, we’d have invited you along to visit our site in south Nailsea. During the week you’d have found a warm welcome and a coffee shop that opens most weekday mornings. You’d have found toddler groups as well as a senior’s lunch, groups for those who are bereaved, youth groups and activities for school children, a beautiful garden to relax in, and more. You’d have discovered that we have many small groups of people who meet in homes around Nailsea to study God’s word and pray, and that regularly we hold discussion groups for those interested in exploring more about Jesus’ teaching. On Sundays you would have found a choice of three services: 9am for a more formal, traditional style of service; 10:45am for all ages and including children’s groups; and SIX30 in the evening for contemporary worship. But although none of this is happening in the quite the same way, there’s still a lot happening.
At the moment we’ve moved online. You can find the live premiere of Church at Home at 9:30am on Sundays here. But don’t worry if you miss it – you can simply watch it later. In the Youtube video you’ll find members of the team leading us in worship, prayer and teaching from the Bible you can watch a taster of Church at Home here. Immediately after the live premiere we gather for a chat with each other via Zoom. Later that morning the children meet for a chat and a Bible story, and then the youth meet together for their own study.
We have also started Worship at 4 which is in Church at 4pm on a Sunday and is a short communion service. Due to social distancing guidelines, we can only accommodate about 27 people, so you will need to book and you can do that here.
Our Church Building is also open for Private Prayer from every Wednesday from 9.30am to 12pm. You don’t need to book, just come along.
However, we want to keep everyone as safe as possible need to adhere to the social distancing rules and there will be hand sanitiser when you enter and leave the building. Please do not come into church if you suspect you have COVID-19 symptoms. Thank you!
Some of our other activities have gone on-line too.
We hold our monthly prayer meeting – Prayer and Praise (7:30pm on the first Wednesday of every month) via Zoom, many of our small groups meet on-line, and even our children’s club (Go Zone) is online. If you’d like to join in with any of this, please do get in touch 01275 853227 or firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll happily tell you how you can be involved or fill in our ‘keep in touch‘ page here.
There’s also a dedicated prayer email if you’d like us to pray for something on your mind email@example.com and another one for questions if you’ve got any question about the Christian faith firstname.lastname@example.org and if you’d value help in searching for an answer.
None of us know what the future holds, but we hope that one day we’ll be able to worship together in person without standing a long way apart from each other! In the meantime, we’d love to connect with you. We’ve got a friendly office team who’d love to hear from you. So please get in touch and find out more. We hope to meet you soon.
